About mXac
I am a one-person company writing shareware software. 3D Outside the Box is designed, written, tested, documented, and marketed by just one person me.
This means:
3D Outside the Box is not your typical modelling application - Probably because I'm not your typical programmer and I definitely have atypical tastes in housing. See http://www.mXac.com.au/EagleEye for my house's web page.
My product is downloadable and can be tried-out for free.
Feature requests - After I get a product out, most of the changes I make are from user feedback. While I don't incorporate all requests, I do try to get most of them in. Since I'm in a one-person company, there's a fairly good chance your requests will be in 3DOB and on my web site within a few months, as opposed to a year or two, if ever.
Bugs - My software will tend to have more bugs that a product produced by a larger company. I don't have an army of testers nor do I have a huge test lab to test on different configurations. However, if you find a bug and give me enough details to fix it, I can usually squash the bug within a few weeks.
New versions -
Assuming that I'm not working on another application, I release weekly updates. Large
companies provide new updates every 18-24 months. Just stop by my web site for the latest
version.
